It’s pretty hard to go through the headlines in gaming and not come across an article or mention of Cyberpunk 2077. It is one of the most anticipated games of 2020.

CD Projekt Red has clearly done a great job at marketing the game and making it a passion project. This is evident with how in-depth and dynamic the game already is looking.

Unfortunately, like a lot of games this year, the developer has had to push the promising title back a couple of times. The coronavirus had a huge part in this.

Just recently, the game has suffered another setback. What was going to be a September release date for this amazing RPG now is looking like November. That’s according to reports from Marcin Iwinski — co-founder of CD Projekt Red — and Adam Badowski.

In summary, they mention that the game is being pushed back once again to November to account for lingering bugs and performance issues.

This may sound like bad news, but there is a silver lining. The developer clearly wants to make sure every element is refined to as to give gamers optimal experiences.

Yes, fans will have to temper their excitement for a couple of additional months, but a complete Cyberpunk 2077 is definitely worth the wait.

It’s not surprising that they’re having to delay this game once again. It’s just so massive in size and has a dynamic system in terms of how events shape the story.

All of these elements moving together was naturally going to cause some glitches somewhere. And CD Projekt Red doesn’t want to ignore them just to get the game out as quickly as possible.

Their poise and patience deserve a lot of credit. Not a lot of developers today would take this stance. Developers are under intense pressure to meet tight deadlines and to make games start generating revenue promptly.

CD Projekt Red isn’t taking this approach, and that just means an even better experience when Cyberpunk 2077 does finally release in November.

Hopefully, that’s the last setback for this dedicated team of developers. They’ve poured their hearts and souls into this game over the last couple of years and deserve to see it pay off.

Based on the game’s setting Night City, the plethora of augment options for the created character, and branching plot points, Cyberpunk 2077 is poised to revolutionize the gaming industry.

And thanks to the developer’s unrelenting efforts, gamers will be able to experience it the way it was meant to be played.
