Developer Cyanide and publisher Big Ben Interactive showed a tease of their latest game, Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood. \n \nThe plot of the new game is very relevant to these times. The story is about a lychan named Cahal. He is banished from his tribe, but he has a bigger agenda, which is to fight the Pentex Corporation. Pentex is led by the mortal enemies of the werewolves--the vampires. The trailer of the Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood can be seen here. \n \n \n \nAs Cahal, you have the power to shapeshift as you travel around the American Northwest. You will then perform various tasks and complete missions. At some point, you will also enter Penumbra, a mystical plane between the physical and spiritual worlds. There, you will meet the great spirit of the Waterfall that will order you to perform side quests and challenges. You will receive a reward for each completed side quest. \n \nThe FBI defines eco-terrorism as an act or threat of violence on innocents or properties to push an agenda. Typically, they want governments, corporations, and individuals to do their bidding. \n \nThe vampires here are seen depicted as forest-gobbling oligarchs who threaten to displace the werewolves from their homes. The werewolves, meanwhile, are shown as very reclusive who put family over everything else. \n \nHowever, the werewolves are ruled by clans, and they have different strategies for combating the vampire threat. You will even see some feminists here who are willing to commit violence to protect their homes. \n \nThe ability of the werewolf to shapeshift is not just for the show. It is integral in how you play the game. For example, when you are exploring, fighting, tracking, monitoring, becoming a werewolf is the ideal choice. Meanwhile, when you need to interact with other people, you need to revert to your human form. The vampires won’t be aware that you are a werewolf, so it’s a great way to go undercover. \n \nWerewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood has a release date of either the second quarter or third quarter of 2020. The game is scheduled to arrive on PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox One. \n \nThe release date for Vampire: The Masquerades - Bloodlines 2 will be in March 2020. If you can buy both titles, you can then play based on the perspective of vampires and werewolves.
