Unless there’s another delay, Cyberpunk 2077 is currently scheduled to be released on current-gen consoles and PC in just under two weeks, and according to CD Projekt Red, the game is running just fine on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

When asked about Cyberpunk 2077’s issues on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, CD Projekt Red CEO Adam Kicinski said that the game is running well on Sony and Microsoft’s respective platforms. He also said that they’re expecting it to launch with some bugs, but they probably won’t be noticeable.

“Of course a bit lower than on pros, but surprisingly good I would say, for such a huge world. So, bit lower, but very good. That’s the answer.

“So, in terms of bugs, we are all aware of them. Of course, such a big game can’t be just bug-free. That’s kind of obvious, but we believe that the level will be as low as to let gamers not see them. And fortunately, some bugs were caused by general features and many of them are already fixed. So, what gamers will get will be different and what viewers will get in final review is better than what previewers got.”

CD Projekt Red has delayed Cyberpunk 2077 several times since announcing its release date at last year’s E3, but it does look like the game is on track to be released on December 10. Of course, the game will only be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, as a full-blown PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X version will be released sometime next year.

If you play Cyberpunk 2077 on the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you will be able to transfer your save data to the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 version, as CD Projekt Red recently detailed how users will be able to do so.

For PlayStation:

  • Connect to your PlayStation Plus account and upload your saves.
  • Transfer your data via LAN cable or wireless connection (WiFi).
  • Use a compatible storage device to copy and transfer your saves to the same PSN account on PlayStation 5.

For Xbox:

Things are a bit simpler for Xbox users, as smart delivery will allow users to continue playing the game on Xbox Series X from where you’ve left off on the Xbox One.
