Have you ever wondered how you would look if you were part of the Cyberpunk universe? The Instagram filter gives you the answer. According to the official Twitter account of Cyberpunk 2077, the move was in response to the clamor of fans. The post also comes with a short clip showing how the app works.

You can choose from the different models of dystopian masks. You do have to turn on your Instagram camera before you can use the filter.

While there is really no need to hype Cyberpunk 2077 some more, a little buzz would not hurt. The game remains one of the most anticipated titles from CD Projekt RED ever since it was announced in 2012. In fact, a teaser trailer released in June 2013 already surpassed 12 million views.

Fans pretty much lost their minds when it was announced that Keanu Reeves would have a role in the game. He was part of the third trailer that debuted at the E3 2019. It was also during that event when the release date for Cyberpunk 2077 was revealed.

In the game, you play the enigmatic character named V. The setting is in Night City, and a dystopian world gripped by corruption and violence. Your mission is to find a unique implant that will grant somebody immortality. Due to its significance, you will not be the only one who is after the implant. The action-adventure game has an open-world format where you can interact directly with the environment.

Cyberpunk 2077 has a release date of April 2020. It will arrive on Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Google Stadia.

However, the game won’t likely be playable on Project Scarlett or the PlayStation 5 when they launch. The next-gen consoles are expected to drop during the holidays next year.

According to Piotr Nielubowicz, CD Projekt chief finance officer, they have no plans yet with the next-gen consoles. He said they are in constant communication with Sony and Microsoft on the development of PS5 and Scarlett.

The CD Projekt executive said they would have to confront this issue somewhere down the road. But right now, they have no intention of aligning their plans with the launch of the two consoles. What he can safely reveal for certain is that Cyberpunk 2077 won’t be available at launch for PS5 and Scarlett.
