Renowned audio technology brand Blue today, announced the news state-of-the-art Blue Yeti X, a flagship USB microphone designed specifically for professionals use. Whether you are a gamer, streamer, or podcaster, you will love the new Yeti X.
If you are looking to transform your desktop into a broadcasting studio, you have the perfect match in the new Blue Yeti X which has surpassed the original Yeti. You can pair this microphone with other Blue broadcasting accessories including the Radius III Shockmount and Compass premium broadcast boom arm.
“We created Yeti X based on feedback from content creators all over the world, who need fast and easy-to-use tools that help them sound their very best. Yeti X with Blue VO!CE gives creators the ability to quickly and easily customize their sound using high-quality effects and presets,” said president and CEO of Blue Microphones John Maier.
The Yeti X features four sound pick up patterns.
The first is Cardioid Mode which captures sounds directly in front of the microphone. It is ideal for game streaming and podcasting.
The second is Omni mode which picks up sound from all the surroundings of the microphone.
There’s also bidirectional which picks up sound from the front and rear, making it ideal for recording or streaming interviews between two people.
Last is the stereo mode, and here, both left and right channels are used.
This new microphone allows gamers and content producers to visualize their voice and fine-tune it on-stream. This is courtesy of Blue VO!CE Broadcast Vocal Effects.
Via the Blue VO!CE audio software, you can choose from the full range of presets, including crisp & modern, warm & vintage, or classic radio voice. It also allows you to create your unique signature sound.
This software also brings on board several other Blue VO!CE effects including de-popper, expander, noise reduction, gate, de-esser, EQ, limiter, and compression. There are also plenty of presets used by top streamers to get you started quickly.
And it doesn’t end there; the Yeti X is also compatible with Logitech G Hub integration for advanced microphone settings.
The Yeti X also features the Smart Knob & Hi-Res LED functions. It brings on board easy-access controls to mute, mic gain, blend volume among others. Notably, the blend option enables users to adjust the levels of computer audio versus that of the microphone audio heard in the headphones.
Regarding availability, the Blue Yeti X is available for pre-order on the official Blue Designs website. It will be hitting the stores sometime in October. The new Yeti X will be available for $170.
