Koei Tecmo Games has recently released a big update and new DLC for their title Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout. \n \nThe updates are now available on Steam, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch. \n \n \n \nAtelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout is the newest title in the series. "The concept of this title, the latest in the series to depict a new "Atelier" world, is "True-to-life youths that develop together, even if just a little bit". It is the story of a girl and her friends who are about to become adults, discovering what is most important to them." states the Steam description. \n \nThe update contains nine background music tracks from Atelier Online: Alchemists of Braceir that can be used in-game. The background music can be changed from Ryza's diary or in her atelier. \n \nThere were also some bug fixes, display related bug fixes, and support for additional content coming in the future. In the Nintendo Switch version, there was a fix for the “Ever Summer Queen & the Secret Island” DLC that caused some issues with game progression. \n \nUpdate 14 also includes the extra high difficulty area "Secret Solitary Island." Players can explore the new region, fight powerful monsters, and hunt for new and other rare material. The map is located in the final section of the game. \n \nThe additional content is included with the "Kurken Island Jam-packed Pass," so players don't have to make any additional purchases to enjoy the update. \n \nEven more music was added as part of the GUST Extra BGM pack. There are more than 350 tracks from Atelier Lulua, Blue Reflection, Nights of Azure 1 and 2, Ciel and Ar Nosurge, and Augmented Reality Girls Trinary. \n \nNew story content was released starring Klaudia in "Atelier Klaudia." In the story "As she watches Ryza perform alchemy, Klaudia begins to think that she would like to create something herself. After giving it some thought, she decides to try her hand at cooking. Along with Ryza and Lila, they begin thinking about what they can cook for Empel, in appreciation for all he has done for them." \n \nAtelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout is available now for the PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch.
