Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will soon have The Fate of Atlantis, its second major DLC, released in the market. And The Fate of Atlantis DLC will be transporting players to an afterlife of ancient Greece.

They will be sent to Elysium which is a place considered as a paradise. But it seems as if there is also something which is dangerous and sinister hidden within it. Here, players will continue their journey and reveal the great mysteries within the ancient world of the gods.

There will be a total of three episodes for this expansion. The first episode, Fields of Elysium, is scheduled for release on the 23rd of this month. The succeeding episodes, Torment of Hades as well as Judgment of Atlantis will be released later in the year.

The launch trailer for the expansion has already been published a few days ago, and it is very breathtaking. It features some mesmerizing backdrops which are to be expected from an Assassin’s Creed title.

It is also accompanied by a suitable dramatic score which sets up the mood. That’s not all as a growling Cerberus is also seen in one of the clips.

The first episode of the expansion promises players of encounters with different Greek gods as well as mythical beasts. It is also expected that players will be facing the forces of the ancient and highly-advanced Isu.

Aside from the brand new missions and story content, the DLC will also feature some new ability enhancements for players. It will include enhancements such as Ares Madness, Kronos Time Warp, Might of Artemis, as well as Ares Bull Charge.

These will allow players to modify and improve the function of their existing abilities. In addition to these, there will also be extra legendary weapons as well as gears for players to collect.

The storyline for The Fate of Atlantis will begin after a player completes the main game and follows the requirements. Players need to complete the quest for Between Two Worlds and the two quests which follow it.

Players would also need to be at level 28 or higher. There’s also a second option that is a shortcut to play The Fate of Atlantis. Details of this can be read in Ubisoft’s article.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: The Fate of Atlantis DLC will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, as well as Xbox One. The release date for the second and third episodes is still not revealed. But as per Ubisoft’s article, the second story arc will conclude in the middle of this year.
