In Pokemon GO, the Evolving Stars Event will run from Wednesday, October 5th, through Tuesday, October 11th, focusing on evolution and the current Season of Light. As part of the Evolving Stars Event, a brand-new Pokemon called Cosmoem will be introduced to Pokemon GO.
Pokemon GO had a spike in the player base during the Covid-19 pandemic as one of the only location-based smartphone games. The current Season of Light in Pokemon GO is already underway, with many players taking advantage of seasonal activities, bonuses, and rewards. In Pokemon Sun and Moon, the legendary Pokemon Cosmog made its debut this season.
The Evolving Stars Event has shifted the spotlight onto Cosmoem, the evolved form of Cosmog. The 25 Cosmog Candy required to develop Cosmog into Cosmoem is a bargain for any trainer. In addition, Pokemon GO enthusiasts can rest assured that more Cosmog will be available in the future to catch and evolve into Cosmoem.
This is excellent news for the many Pokemon GO gamers who have been playing for years to complete the game’s missions, see all of the Pokemon, and level up to the highest possible levels.
On October 8th, from 2 PM to 5 PM, players can take advantage of the following Raid Day perks as part of the Event: There will be a higher possibility of seeing Shiny Gyarados, Mega Gyarados will occur more frequently in raids, and players can earn up to five extra Raid Passes by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms. Participants in Pokemon GO raids are always looking for new advantages to joining in on the fun.
A total of four distinct evolution-themed tasks await players in the Event’s final stages, each offering the chance to earn valuable evolution-themed rewards. In addition, there will be an Evolution Cup.
Entry is restricted to Pokemon with less than 1,500 CP. In addition, only Pokemon that have already evolved once and have the potential to become again will be considered.
