XSEED Games and Marvelous have announced the PC release of DAEMON X MACHINA. The title was previously a Nintendo Switch exclusive title, but will now be available on another platform.

The title has experienced developers who worked on the title, including Kenichiro Tsukuda of the Armored Core series and mecha designer Shoji Kawamori, who created mecha designs for Super Dimensional Fortress Macross.

“You are an Outer, a new breed of human being that appeared in the aftermath of the Moonfall calamity. As a mercenary for the Orbital organization, you are on the front line of a desperate war for humanity’s survival against the Immortals—corrupted AIs that have rebelled against their human creators. Piloting a fully customizable mech known as an Arsenal, you must team up with mercenaries like yourself and complete missions to defeat the Immortals once and for all. But be careful—in a war fought by mercenaries, today’s allies can become tomorrow’s enemies.” states the official description from the Steam store.

The game will launch in eight different languages on Steam, but only English or Japanese audio is available.

DAEMON X MACHINA will be released with the base game and additional DLC. Similar to the Nintendo Switch release, players will be able to play single-player or online.

XSEED confirmed on Twitter it will include: “The PC edition will feature all content updates including new Arsenal gear, cosmetic options, Colossal Immortal battles, and a co-op Exploration Mission mode!”

The publisher also announced that collaborations with other games, such as CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3, will not be included in the new release.

XSEED is also offering a preorder discount of 20% on Steam until launch. A user on Twitter asked if the title would come to other digital game platforms, but XSEED confirmed it is a Steam exclusive on PC.

An additional special promotion includes the Prototype Arsenal and Plugsuit, along with the Metallic Equipment set until March 13.

Unfortunately, there is no demo for players to try out the game before its released. XSEED has stated they would pass the suggestion of a demo on Steam or the Nintendo Switch to the developers.
