LCS Season 2020 is finally live after a long break since Summer 2019.
The second day started with a gruesome 60-minute game from two teams, the returning Immortals, and Team Solo Mid.

Team Solo Mid vs Immortals
Rumble / Lee Sin / Le’Blanc / Senna / Tahm Kench vs. Aatrox / Elise / Zoe / Ezreal / Braum
TSM picked for mid-game, their set-up outside of Senna falls quite hard going into the late game, but they could not execute their strats and power-up through Immortals. While TSM was struggling to push for objectives on one side of the map, Immortals was picking up towers/dragons/herald.
With mid-game coming up, the game stabilized and both teams started out a farm snoozefest. Immortals were extending their lead, but TSM was failing to engage onto the IMT squad. IMT picked-up dragon soul, 2 elder dragons, and 3 barons in order to able to push and win, but it took 60 long minutes.
Golden Guardians vs Cloud 9
Aatrox / Rek’Sai / Diana / Senna / Tahm Kench vs. Camille / Lee Sin / Zoe / Aphelios / Nautilus
Senna versus Aphelios is a staple already after the first few matches. Due to other ADCs being much weaker compared to them, they are heavily prioritized. The game went even for the first fifteen minutes with similar trades for both teams, a kill in the top for a kill in the bot, a dragon for a herald.
After 15 minutes everything changed, Cloud 9 started going for aggressive picks left and right, which gave them uncontested dragon alongside the second herald. With second herald and item advantage, they were able to continue pressuring the Golden Guardians squad and push towards victory with ease. The only saving grace in the FBI was not enough to save Golden Guardians from the inevitable loss.
Flyquest vs Counter Logic Gaming
Aatrox / Rek’sai / Rumble / Leona / Aphelios vs. Camille / Jarvan / Zoe / Senna / Nautilus
Senna versus Aphelios once again. This match-up is the new Azir versus Corki match-up, where unless the champions are banned, they will be picked by all teams. Flyquest got an early lead 2 minutes into the game after Rek’ Sai got a double kill on both Jarvan and Zoe. With that lead in mind, Flyquest managed to maintain it and extend it quite fast, reaching an overall 2k gold lead by 10 minutes.
Rek’sai was dominating the entire map, while Jarvan was scrambling to help out his team. With Jarvan being so far behind, Flyquest started pushing for dragons to obtain the dragon soul and Baron Nashor to have an easier way of closing out of the game. After taking Nashor at 26 min, they were able to open up the base of CLG and set it for a last-push. After buying items with the banked gold, Flyquest was able to easily finish the game.
That is all for Day 2 coverage of LCS 2020, stay tuned for more in the upcoming days.
