CDPR reminded players that by purchasing Thronebreaker, they were eligible to receive bonus downloadable content from their website.

Thronebreaker is a single-player role-playing game set in the world of The Witcher that combines narrative-driven exploration with unique puzzles and card battle mechanics. Crafted by the developers responsible for some of the most iconic moments in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the game spins a truly regal tale of Meve, a war-veteran and queen of two Northern Realms — Lyria and Rivia. Facing an imminent Nilfgaardian invasion, Meve is forced to once again enter the warpath and set out on a dark journey of destruction and revenge.” states the official Steam store description.

Players can head to the official The Witcher website to download their digital goods that include the official soundtrack, digital version of GWENT: Art of The Witcher Card Game artbook from Dark Horse, concept art that includes a map of Lyria, and the Fox Children graphic novel by Dark Horse. For GWENT players, there are additional in-game titles and avatars to use.

Fox Children is a comic written by Paul Tobin with cover and interior art by Joe Querio. The comic stars Geralt of Rivia as he travels on the Prophet, a ship filled with “fools, renegades, and criminals.”

To download all of the content, players will need to create accounts on GOG and Dark Horse. Making an account is free on both websites.

It’s unknown how long these digital downloads will be available. Players who purchased Thronebraker should download them now in case the promotion ends soon.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales uses the GWENT card game for all battles, but Meve can run around on the map screen. Meve meets several characters from the novels and the series.

Queen Meve was only mentioned in The Witcher 3 and the original novel series. CDPR has expanded on her story, along with the characters she meets along the way. Depending on the choices players make, there are multiple ways that the story can end.
