The future of gaming is here, with Google Stadia finally releasing on November 19.
Instead of needing a console to play video games, Stadia gives gamers access to their data centers. There, the servers will run the games at the highest graphics and frame rate settings.
Stadia offers 4k gameplay but uses its own hardware to run it. What does this mean? Gamers no longer need to download, buy new consoles or hardware to keep up with the demanding technology of players.
All players need to game is a Stadia subscription and few items. Once that have that, they can start streaming games on their device. Google has announced the first 12 games that will be on the Stadia and ready to play when it launches.

Gamers will need a mobile device that is compatible with Stadia if that’s the direction they want to go. This includes Google’s Pixel 2, 3, 3a, and 4 and tablets running the Chrome operating system. It is still in the works to bring Stadia to iOS and Android devices.
Gamers can use their computer with a Chrome browser to stream Stadia, and they can connect a USB cable to a gaming controller to play.
If gamers want to use their TV to stream Stadia, then they will need to get a Google Chromecast Ultra, as well as a Stadia controller. These items can be purchased separately or in a pack. There are two packs Stadia is selling, the Stadia Founders Edition and the Stadia Premiere Edition.
Stadia Founders Edition comes with three months of Stadia Pro for two people, a Stadia controller, and a Chromecast Ultra. It will also come with Destiny 2: The Collection Edition, which includes the game and a bunch of expansions. This is sold out in most countries.
The Stadia Premiere Edition comes with a Chromecast Ultra, controller, and three months of Stadia Pro. This may still be available.
Some gamers that pre-ordered these packs will get them right on launch day, but since the
demand is high, Google is sending the packages out on a first-come, first-serve basis, meaning some may not arrive on launch day, or even in November.
Google will send out an email on the 19th with an invitation code that will let Stadia gamers create their account and reserve their names on the Android or iOS app.
Google Stadia is set up to be a ground-breaking gaming experience. Most gamers view streaming as the start of a new era, and if that’s the case, Stadia is leading the charge.
