Each week, World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth gamers can participate in an event that will give them a passive buff to help increase an in-game element.
This week is the “Weekly Bonus Event: World Quests.” And if players decide to partake, they will receive a “plus 50 percent to Reputation gains from World Quest” buff.
Because it is WoW’s 15th Anniversary, there is already a permanent buff of 15 percent to reputation, so gamers will receive a 65 percent increase for reputation earned!
The quest that players can pick up is “The World Awaits,” which can be found in Zuldazar with Chronicler Shoopa, or in Boralus with Chronicler Toopa. It can also be found by accessing the Adventure Guide using the hotkey shift-J.
The quest asks players to complete 20 World Quests, and that can be done in multiple zones, Kul Tiras, Mechagon, Zandalar, or Nazjatar.
As most end-game WoW players know, World Quests are a great way to grind reputation for a particular faction. And, when the player accepts this quest, they will automatically be granted the passive buff mentioned earlier.
On completion of the quest, gamers will receive 1,000 War Resources. The true prize, however, is the amount of reputation the player will gain by completing these World Quests, mainly if they focus on a specific faction from a zone.
For players that don’t know how to find World Quests, all they have to do is press the map hotkey (m), find one of the zones that are a part of the quest, and there will be live World Quests displayed on the map. Gamers then can choose the quest that seems the most appealing to them and head over to that area of the zone to complete it!
At the time of this writing, there are over fifteen active World Quests in Nazjatar. Players can complete “Depopulation Effect,” by slaying 15 Naga Forces, or “Dirty Dozen,” by killing 12 Zoatroid Harvesters.
Zandalar and Kul Tiras are both excellent places to hit as well. Mechagon only has two right now, and one is a pet battle, so it may not be the best zone to try and power through the quest.
Typically, the Weekly Bonus Event starts every Tuesday and runs for the week. This is holiday time right now, so hopefully players will have some time to log in and take advantage of it.
Spread the holiday cheer this week by helping the World of Warcraft factions that need it most!
