As per the usual with 2K Sports’ annual pro wrestling game, there will be a significant amount of legends who will be playable in WWE 2K20, as over 40 legendary names from the past who are set to appear in the upcoming release.
Among the legends who will be featured in this year’s game is Hulk Hogan, who will make his return to the roster for the first time since being fired by WWE back in 2015. Hogan, who is 66 years old, returned to the company late last year for one of their Saudi Arabia shows.
Also, for the first time in roughly 20 years, the Ninth Wonder of the World Chyna, who was recently inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of the legendary faction D-Generation X, will be featured on this year’s roster.

The most notable roster omission is Chris Jericho, who is no longer with WWE, as he officially signed with their chief competitor — All Elite Wrestling — earlier in the year. Of course, Jericho officially left WWE before he joined AEW, as he wrestled a few times for New Japan Pro Wrestling.
2K typically adds new characters to the roster after the game is released, but they’re never free additions, as players will need to purchase the game’s season pass to have free access to WWE 2K20’s post-launch DLC. If you’re not interested in buying the season pass, then the post-launch content can be bought individually, although it will cost players more in the long-run if they decide to do that.
We’re now only a few days away from the release of WWE 2K20, which is currently scheduled to be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 22.
