So, it seems that Fortnite fans would get a chance to watch a full scene from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker before its official debut, however, these would be done under new conditions. One of the early scenes will be premiering inside of Fortnite, at the in-game drive-in theater. There were posters yesterday morning for the event, which is debuting next Saturday.

For those interested in watching, they would have to show up in-game on the 14th of December at 2:00 PM. The poster said something completely different from the central theme; the message read: J.J Abrams will be there, which is not known as to why it was there. However, the only way to find out will be to show up on the in-game theater.

It’s common for Fortnite to use crossovers to make the gamer’s experience more exciting to them. For instance, they have had crossovers with certain on-screen characters like Ralph Breaks the Internet, Batman, John Wick, and much more.

However, this is going to be the most significant crossover by far. Also, another big crossover was another exciting reveal as it was worth two years of Avengers scenes that enabled players to participate in either controlling Thanos or fight against him in the fight for the Infinity Stones.

However, don’t expect these crossover to be similar—though no one knows the exact picturesque to see after the movie comes out. The best analogy that relates to this would be the Fortnite X Marshmello event from last year, a live in-game event from the DJ that acted as an unofficial mascot for a time in the series. So, in essence, this may be a more straightforward scene. Still, it’s a scene from one of the most anticipated from the movie throughout this year.

So the question is, how do Star Wars fan get to participate in this scene, especially when they don’t play Fortnite? Fortunately, this game is available on almost every device at anyone’s disposal; whether it is a computer or phone, you’d most likely be able to stream the scene, and then it will be online afterward.

This move pulled by Epic Games is directed towards their game being downloaded by a ton of curious fans that might not have signed up to the game before, and others might dump the game after the scene. On the other side, some might continue with Epic Games’ Fortnite on their computer, which is a massive win for the company.
