Cooler Master is indeed dedicated to creating innovation from their recent trends. Today, the award-winning Taiwanese company has released the coveted Cooler Master MasterCase H100, a compact and stylish mini-ITX case with a large front intake fan and RGB lighting. A few days ago, the company rolled out its first line of Cooler Master gaming monitors in an offensive to expand its product portfolio.
The MasterCase H100 was among the four cases that the company displayed during Computex 2019, Taipei. This was together with the Silencio S400 (mATX) & Silencio S600 (ATX), COSMOS C700P Black Edition, and MasterCase SL600M Black Edition.
According to what the Cooler Master product manager shared with Tom’s Hardware, the H100 would come in two variants; a 200mm RGB fan and a 240mm RGB fan. The model released has a 200mm RGB fan, so the 240mm RGB fan version is still in the pipeline.
The H100 boasts a compact layout and still manages to accommodate the H Series 200mm RGB fan. This is fantastic news for gamers who want to save on space without compromising power and performance. Despite the lightweight design, a built-in handle enhances portability making the case ideal for on-the-go gamers.
Apart from the large fan, Cooler Master focused on ventilation for cooling, and that’s the reason behind their Cooler Master’s signature Fine Mesh. The mesh covers the entire front interface and part of the top panel leaving just a small area for the handle. The result is unrestricted airflow while still filtering the small dirt and debris.
The MasterCase H100 supports all the full-sized ATX power supplies. In terms of storage, the unit gets one 2.5″ / 3.5″ drive bay (combo) and four (3+1 combo) 2.5″ drive bays. An RGB controller is included in the package. As for connectivity, H100 supports one 3.5mm audio and mic jack, and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports.
The Cooler Master MasterCase H100 surprisingly leaves a lot of room despite the compact form factor. The CPU cooler leaves an 83mm clearance. The graphics card without the radiator leaves 210mm while with a radiator, the 180mm is still impressive. As for the power supply, 210mm is left without the radiator and 160mm with the radiator.
So far, the Cooler Master HM100 is only available in European markets going for just €64, and that should make it a great bargain. Expect it to hit the US markets very soon for around $75 give or take.
