BetaDwarf has put out a call for help! The indie developers are calling on the community to help with testing the game, as well as asking the player base to let their voices be heard in the community surveys to help the developers know where best to focus their attention.
In a recent announcement, BetaDwarf released a bit of information on the up and coming new expansion, Charging Into Darkness. With this expansion on the way, BetaDwarf is opening the doors to PTR testers to help test the new content and balance changes, working towards a greater level of polish for the upcoming content.
“As a PTR tester, you will test new content on the PTR and provide feedback for the Minion Masters design team through questionnaires and discuss feedback with the team directly in the Discord channel,” BetaDwarf explains. “Responses from the PTR testing group is an extremely important part of creating new content for the game.”
There are a few requirements for PTR testers though. Since communication is key, they ask that everyone signing up be able to write in English, as well as keeping an open mind to the changes. Additionally, PTR testers should have ample time to play and test, as someone who can only play a few games won’t be able to add the thorough feedback that BetaDwarf is searching for. Players will be testing new cards and masters through rigorous playtesting and will need to be able to have a Steam account, as well as the ability to play on PC.
If you don’t want to come in as a PTR tester, however, there are still ways to make your opinion heard and your feedback known! BetaDwarf has just finished their Week 1 survey for the Wild Cards Rework Test. The next survey will be coming next Monday, so keep your eyes open if there’s something that you feel the developers should know. Otherwise, the week 1 survey is still open, so feel free to jump in with a response as soon as possible!
BetaDwarf has a huge amount of new content on the way, with the reveal of their next card, Dormant Defenders, coming soon. With so much coming down the pipeline, the developers need the community’s feedback now more than ever so that they can ensure all of their additions that they’re bringing to the game are as balanced and polished as possible before they hit the live servers. Do your part and sign up as a PTR tester today!
