Death Stranding, Untitled Goose Game, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Outer Wilds, and control are the nominees for Game of the year at the 20th annual Game Developers Choice Awards. Which is coming up in March at Game Developers Conference 2020.
These groups of games each earned nominations in several categories, with Death Stranding greeting a vote in seven, the most of any game. Death Stranding is set up for Best Audio, Best Narrative Game (I think this one is a no-brainer) Best Design, Best Visual Art and the GDC’s Innovation, Best Technology, with a whooping Game of the Year.
The International Choice Awards Network chooses the nominees, the winners to be selected by ICAN, would be revealed on Wednesday, March 18 in a festival hosted by Kim Swift, now a design director for Electronic Arts and also famous for her work on Valve’s Left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2, and Portal.
