There’s no doubt that The Last of Us and its upcoming sequel The Last of Us Part II are some of Sony’s biggest exclusive titles for the PlayStation 4.

The original game follows series protagonists Joel and Ellie as they make their way across a post apocalyptic version of the United States, from Boston to Salt Lake City, Utah. During this adventure, they encounter infected zombie-like people, vicious hunters who are out for blood, and even a community of cannibals.

That journey has been recreated in a way on a wall at the official PlayStation headquarters, depicting the journey of Joel and Ellie throughout The Last of Us as a giant board game.

It even includes enemy roadblocks and locations from the 2013 game.

Azad Qizilbash, the head of product for PlayStation World Wide Studios recently tweeted out a photo of the wall with the caption “My favorite meeting room on campus!”

You can see several locations from the game listed on the wall, from the Boston Quarantine Zone where the story begins, followed by The Outskirts, Bill’s Town, Pittsburgh, Tommy’s Dam, The University, and so on.

There are also game piece representations of several characters from the game including Joel, Ellie, Tess, Bill, Sam, Henry, and David. There are even weapon cards showing off bricks, steel pipes, 9 MM pistols, and Molotov cocktails.

While the room itself looks fairly small, it’s easy to see why such an amazing mural would make it an instant favorite for anyone who has ever taken control of Joel and Ellie’s adventure.

Nauhghty Dog’s vice president Neil Druckman geeked out on Twitter, saying, “I want this board game, Asad! Make it happen!”

Of course, this board game doesn’t actually exist, but who knows what the future holds? With the release of The Last of Us Part II coming soon, there could be an opportunity for more merchandise like this to become a possibility.

The Last of Us Part II was originally supposed to release at the end of February, but was pushed back into May late last year. It has been in development for quite a while, and recent demos released online have shown that all the work Naughty Dog is putting into this game is paying off.

From new enemy types and new breeds of infected, to enhanced artificial intelligence in NPCs, The Last of Us Part II has already cemented itself as one of the most highly anticipated games of 2020.
