The creators of Hohokum and Wilmot’s Warehouse have an interesting exploration of the afterlife planned for their next game. I Am Dead is a charming puzzle adventure from Hollow Ponds and Richard Hogg. The game presents the afterlife in a brighter ton rather than focusing on the depressing aspects of death.

Players must uncover a mystery and prevent the eruption of an island volcano. There is tons to learn from this artistically intriguing title, and fans are ready for the adventure. Expect bright colors, wonderful people, and stunning sunsets as you save this tropical island from total destruction.

You get to play as Morris Lupton, a recently-deceased museum curator on the tiny island of Shelmerston. After being reunited with your lost dog, Sparky, you learn of an impending disaster that is about to destroy the island. Together with your dog, you set off on a puzzle adventure to save the only home you have ever known.

As you explore the island, you come across many ancient mysteries surrounding Shelmerston. Morris and Sparky will come across lost and scattered ghosts across the island. To find these spirits, you must spend time in and dive inside the memories of people that knew them. Slowly you learn the stories of their lives and how they lived on the island.

To help with the mission, Morris has found that he has developed a new power. This power allows him to peer inside objects and reveal their contents and memories. Its kinda like a super-powered X-Ray in some ways. Using this, Morris can help himself, the spirits, and save the island from a volcanic eruption.

Enjoy the island experience as you discover stories bout the history and folklore of Shelmerston. It is covered in quite the curious cast of characters, including tourist finches, the fishfolk, morlos, and the Legend of Aggi, the first person to silence the volcano.

The game presents death in a unique way. Rather than being something scary or avoiding it. It ends up as one of the main plot points and gives almost a welcome approach to the subject.
