One of the most adorable pets in World of Warcraft (WoW) history is now available for adoption, and one hundred percent of the proceeds will go to multiple causes.

Blizzard has teamed up with two amazing foundations, Make-A-Wish and WE. Every time a WoW player purchases the pet Dottie, they will be helping critically ill children and funding global social issue remedies.

If a gamer buys Dottie between now and December 31st, these two organizations will share the entire $10 transaction.

This trailer is not a typical WoW advertisement. However, it gets the point across. Dottie is really cute.

The baby alpaca is available for World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth players, but the in-game pet isn’t available for World of Warcraft: Classic gamers.

While fighting a raid boss, why use spells and blades to take them down? Just show them this adorable little alpaca, and they may keel over from cuteness overload.

If WoW players want to enjoy Dottie in the real world, they can purchase a stuffed animal as well. The Dottie Plush is selling for $29.99, and $10.00 of each sale will be split between Make-A-Wish and WE.

There is a cap set by Blizzard for the amount that they’ll donate, which is $3 million USD. That would an incredible mark to hit as that money will go towards significant causes.

Make-A-Wish has been supplying critically ill children with amazing experiences for decades. Since 1980, children between the ages of 2.5 and 18 have had their wishes have come true because of this outstanding non-profit. Whether it’s a trip to Disneyland, or meeting their sports hero, every dollar goes towards changing the life of someone who could truly use it.

WE Charity, initially called Free The Children, has been tackling global social issues since 1995. Whether it’s focusing on education, water, health, food, or commercial projects, no task is too small for the organization, and more money raised will allow the charity to expand their reach even further.

Players have over three weeks to buy the in-game or plush version of Dottie and have their money donated to these organizations. Hopefully, once the period is over, Blizzard will post exactly how much was raised.

After the donation period, Dottie will remain in the Blizzard Shop and in-game shop as well.

And don’t worry about bringing the innocent, little alpaca onto the battlefield. As per the trailer, Dottie has been through and seen a lot in its young life.
