Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release November 19. It has been in the development oven for quite a while now, but CD Projekt Red just wants to make sure it’s every bit of amazing and fulfills the high expectations that have been set by many since it was first teased.

Fortunately, the developer has taken the time to keep fans up to date with what they’ve been working tirelessly on. From developer interviews to sequences of gameplay, CD Projekt Red wants to do everything possible to keep the buzz going since fans have had to endure a couple of delays.

The developer also has taken the opportunity to reveal some concept art of some of the districts in Night City — the main setting in Cyberpunk 2077. A couple of weeks ago, we saw one of the richest districts referred to as Westbrook. It’s like what Beverly Hills is to California.

Just recently, some more concept art was shared. This time, it’s the rough wastelands of Santo Domingo. Right away, it’s clear this area is nothing like Westbrook. Instead of featuring fancy waterfalls and beautiful architecture, Santo Domingo is shown to have a bit of a grimy feel. There is smog in the air and a sense of despair that you just have to see for yourself.

According to CD Projekt Red via Twitter, Santo Domingo is one of the oldest districts in Night City. It’s often used as a testing ground for industrial projects, which you can clearly see by the emissions flowing into the air from the factories.

It may be a great place for industrial operations, but it seems like a nightmare living scenario for residents. They are relegated to living in crowded structures with very little to look at. It’s quite the polar opposite of the concept art shown a couple of weeks ago.

It just goes to show how different the districts are in Night City. One minute, you could be riding high through some beautiful mountains and then all of a sudden come across some less than ideal environments. The diversity in districts should add to the depth of Cyberpunk 2077, making even just the exploration side of gameplay well worth the price of admission.

As we get closer to November, expect to see more concept art of the various districts. It will be intriguing to see what else CD Projekt Red has done with the amazingly detailed and lively Night City. It would seem like fans are in store for a real treat.
