Blizzard has been on a massive streak in adding new customization options to World of Warcraft as they move towards the next expansion. World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is set to get a huge amount of additional customization options.
These new additions have been made to a variety of races, and this is far from the first time we’ve discussed them, but they just keep adding more! Blizzard doesn’t seem like they’re letting any of the playable races fall behind, either, as the myriad of new options are coming across the board.
Previously, we discussed some changes coming to Dwarves, adding some new tattoo options that we hadn’t seen yet to help you live out your race fantasy of playing a Wildhammer Dwarf. Night Elves, Blood Elves, Pandaren, Worgen, and Draenei all got a few changes as well.
What’s best is that even that is far from an exhaustive list! Blizzard adds them a few at a time, which makes it hard to distill them together – a haircut here, new eyes there, and suddenly we have dozens of new options.

Dwarves are getting a few additional options as well, including new hairstyles and the ability to add in feather decorations. This adds towards the Wildhammer addition that Blizzard seems to be implementing, making it so that the playable Dwarf – the Bronzebeard Dwarves, canonically – can be made to appear like their rivals-turned-allies instead.
As the embedded tweet above shows, Male Goblins have a few changes coming as well. Players will have more noses and hairstyles to pick from with Goblins, which are statistically one of the least played Horde races, being below all of the other core races and only barely beating out Pandaren.

Tauren are getting a bit of love as well, despite the recent wealth of customizations that came with the alternate allied race, Highmountain Tauren. Now, the Mulgore-natives are getting a few warpaint additions, along with new hair, horns, and colorations.
Everyone’s favorite, Gnomes, are getting some new hairstyles, with male Gnomes getting new beards and eyebrows while female Gnomes are being granted some new earring choices. Given that Gnomes and Dwarves are almost tied for the least popular of the core Alliance races, these new customization options may help push their numbers back up.
Humans are grabbing a few new eye options and facial shapes. Additionally, the Forsaken are going to be getting new eye colors to really drive home that mystical cursed vibe of ceaseless undeath.
And those are all of the new customization options being added! If your favorite race hasn’t gotten some changes yet, it looks like Blizzard won’t rest until every race has some new customization options, so keep checking back to see if they’ve announced the additions!
