Today, Blizzard sent out surveys to select players of World of Warcraft Classic regarding how they feel about character creation if Burning Crusade would re-release. Although there is limited information like how the developers chose the players, this is, of course, a good sign for the BC-era enthusiasts.
The California-based game developer has not said a word regarding their plans moving past WoW Classic. Fans are still exciting about the thought of a Burning Crusade release. Among those lucky enough to receive the survey is James “Kaelaris” Carrol, an English eSports commentator. Some of the games under his belt are PUBG, Starcraft, and World of Warcraft.
I've rarely had to think about an answer for this long.. hmmm #WoWClassic pic.twitter.com/KncEmJpCfz

The survey’s question reads, “Thinking about the potential ways a player could start a character in ‘Classic’ Burning Crusade, which of the following would you prefer most?”
As Carrol explains, the options are not as direct and require some thinking to do. Namely, the answers to choose are:
- Continue playing my current Classic character on my existing server as it progresses to the Burning Crusade expansion, with the option to transfer to a Classic server that will never progress past level 60.
- Start a brand new character from level 58 on a new Burning Crusade server.
- Start a brand new character from Level 1 on a new Burning Crusade server.
- Continue playing my current Classic character on my existing server that will never progress past level 60, with the option to transfer to a Burning Crusade server.
- None of the above.
Later on, the 31-year old caster realizes that the said survey is confidential. “LOL, so apparently I didn’t see the part where it said to keep that survey ‘confidential,” Kaelaris tweets after half an hour. He adds a creative use of WoW emote at the end, /shrug.
A similar survey was sent out to select players, as well, before Blizzard announced level squish is coming to Shadowlands. Even more public attention comes alive after realizing that the newest Hearthstone expansion will be in the BC-era, Ashes of Outland.
The first-ever World of Warcraft expansion comes with its controversies back in January 2007. Fans had mixed emotions and started claims that expansion will kill the game. Even though this was the case 13 years ago, the fanbase welcomed a lot of new features and in-game life improvements to the MMORPG. BC increased level cap to 70 and introduced flying in Azeroth. Besides new quests, dungeons, and raid tiers, the said expansion premiered Draenei and Blood Elf as races. On top of all of these, the PvP Arena Season was publicize.
