A post on the Slayers Club website details the future of the club and what’s to come in 2020.

The Slayers Club isn’t just a giant forum for fans to discuss the game. Registration into the club is free. Players earn points by participating in the community forums, sharing news posts on social media, reading news posts, submitting fanart, and joining community events.

Players can turn in points for exclusive in-game items like skins or weapons. The most recent prize is the 25th Anniversary Skin for the highest level of the club.

Detail regarding the future of the Slayers Club was outlined in an Anniversary Stream. The Twitch stream was around 90 minutes and celebrated all things DOOM.

One significant change to the club is the elimination of monthly giveaways. This is the only thing removed from the club at this time, which means there are more benefits to joining the club than bonuses being removed.

Bethesda teased new content was in the works: “Of course, we’ve got a lot of brand-new stuff in the works going into next year. We’re not quite ready to show them off just yet, but we think the community will love what we have coming in 2020.”

With the upcoming release of DOOM Eternal coming on March 20, 2020, this is sure to mean more in-game content and possibly new merchandise. The Rip and Tear Pack includes the DOOT Revenant Skin, Throwback Shotgun Weapon Skin, and Cultist Base Master Level.

Gamers can pre-order DOOM Eternal now for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The pre-order includes the Rip and Tear Pack and DOOM 64 for free.

From the official YouTube trailer description: “DOOM Eternal puts you in control of the DOOM Slayer as you blow apart new and classic demons with powerful weapons in unbelievable and never-before-seen worlds. Experience the ultimate combination of speed and power as you rip and tear your way across dimensions with the next leap in push-forward, first-person combat.”
