From cosmetics to new tracks, there is tons of new content being added to the game. The central theme is the Holiday Tour, which will be the new set of tracks for racers to earn their stripes on. As with every new tour, there will be new characters, karts, gliders, and more.

It seems that the central attraction for this upcoming tour will be Pauline and Yoshi’s adorable costumes. Yoshi is dressed up as everyone’s favorite reindeer Rudolph, complete with antlers and the signature bright red nose. Pauline is going to her city roots and is dressed up in a disco ball themed dress.

Companioning the costumes is a wild-looking sleigh kart. It appears to have reindeer antlers on the front and is dressed up in all kinds of festive colors. Pauline is riding her way in a 2020 celebration Cadi that proudly displays the next year on the tail. The Cadi generally remains the same reskinned a million times over throughout each event.

The tour is bringing the racerback to the busy New York streets just in time to watch the Times Square ball drop. It is sure to have many familiar sights and turns from the original New York experience released when the game came out.

Mario Kart Tour has had massive success, and their events seem to be continuously rolling out in time for every major occasion. The toads continue to be hard at work, developing new content and crafting new tracks in real-world locations and famous Mario Kart past experiences.

Although fans seem to be sticking around and returning for every event, the longevity of the game still remains to be seen. There are many online discussions about the game’s gacha mechanics, but at least the game is free, right? Many fans are happy just to have a chance at experiencing the Mario Kart world conveniently on their mobile devices.
