The Slayers Club is Bethesda’s official DOOM fan club. Access to the club is free but will also need a free Bethesda.net account. This requirement is because the club sends out digital rewards to the user’s Bethesda account. From there, players only have to click “Join” to become a member. There is no purchase or quiz necessary.

The Slayers Club gives players access to everything related to the DOOM series. There’s articles, fan art contents, videos, and trailers, plus concept art from the developer.

Access to the Slayers Club is only via the official website, and there are no plans to release an app.

The Slayers Club releases exclusive content every month. Last week, there was an exciting new feature.

The Marine portrait is an iconic part of DOOM’s UI. Now fans have the opportunity to create their own portraits in the club’s new Avatar Creator.

Players have to reach the third rank of the club, UAC Advocate, to unlock their first avatar slot. More avatar slots are unlocked as players rank up in the Slayers Club. More features to unlock include additional hairstyles, accessories, battle damage, and “God Mode” eyes.

Once users create their avatar, they can download and share it on other sites.

Creating just one avatar has a big payoff. Save and share the first avatar to receive 500 Slayer Points to the club account.

There doesn’t appear to be an end date to sign up for the Slayers Club. New members can jump in to join at any time. Slayer Points are available all over the site, from sharing news points to submitting content.

The new avatars come just in time for the upcoming release of the latest installment of the series, DOOM Eternal.

According to the official Steam page: “As the DOOM Slayer, you return to find Earth has suffered a demonic invasion. Raze Hell and discover the Slayer’s origins and his enduring mission to rip and tear…until it is done.

Gamers can also sign up for a Bethesda.com and Slayers Club account now to accrue points before the release of DOOM Eternal. Players may be able to earn exclusive goods to use in-game as part of being a member of the club.
