Before Call of Duty: Modern Warfare launched last week, most players were excited about the series returning to the “boots on the ground” approach. But, some of the game’s player base has complained about MW being too slow and campy, but according a new rumor, that is going to change very soon.

Returning to a normal mini-map means that players who fire their weapons without suppressors will show up as red dots, which has been the standard in the Call of Duty franchise.

Aside from being a little too slow and campy, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is already one of the best games in the history of the franchise, and it’s also surpassed expectations in terms of total sales. According to its Metacritic rating, it’s the fourth-best game in COD history.

The aforementioned Call of Duty leaker also revealed the full list of maps that are coming soon to Modern Warfare, some of which are from previous games in the franchise. You can check out the list of maps below.

  • Wet Work
  • Terminal
  • Crash
  • Vacant
  • Broadcast
  • Scrapyard
  • Rust
  • Farah
  • Boneyard
  • Caged
  • Hook
  • 4+ Ground War Maps
  • 3+ Gunfight Maps

Activision has announced that all of the map-DLC will be free, so you don’t need to have purchased the game’s battle pass to gain access to them, as the battle pass will only cover cosmetic items that won’t have an impact on gameplay. So, to unlock everything else, all you need to do is play the game and eventually you’ll get what you want.

It’s also been rumored that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s battle pass will also feature items for the game’s Battle Royale mode, which, according to The Gaming Revolution, will be added to MW in January of 2020. Also, the mode will be free to play.
