Although the Pokemon Go Halloween event is over, the fun has not ended. The Legendary Regi trio have returned to the game for a limited time before Cobalion arrives next week. They will appear in five-star Raid Battles around the world, giving everyone an opportunity to catch the set.
Make sure you bring your friends as Five-Star raids can be difficult for single trainers to conquer. This event is available until 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET on November 4. So go out trainers and collect them all for a limited time.
Regirock, Regice, and Registeel have all returned to raids! Haven’t bought a ticket for the Special Research story event, A Colossal Discovery? Tickets will be available until Saturday, November 2, in the in-app shop! 🎟️ https://t.co/VnB8Tg79Xe pic.twitter.com/ilQVuWv2qF

This event is a great opportunity to add these Pokemon to your collection. You not only have a chance to collect these legendaries but also catch them in their shiny forms. This is the first time they have been available as shiny Pokemon, so make sure to go out there and catch them while you can.
Regirock is vulnerable to Steel, Ground, Fighting, Water, and Grass-type Pokemon. They are resistant to Normal, Poison, Flying, and Fire-type, so make sure to plan your team accordingly. The abilities that you want to see on your Regirock are Rock Throw, Stone Edge, and Focus Blast.
Registeel is a different beast. It is vulnerable to Fire, Ground, and Fighting-type moves. It also has resistance to Dragon, Ice, Psychic, Normal, Grass, Steel, Bug, Rock, Flying, Fairy, and Poison-type moves. The moves you want are Metal Claw, Hyper Beam, and Rock Smash.
Regice is the last of the legendary trio. It is vulnerable to Fire, Fighting, Rock, and Steel. It is resistant to only Ice based moves. The move-set you want to try and find are Frost Breath, Blizzard, and Rock Smash. Out of all of the Regi’s to try and catch, Ice tends to be the hardest to find. So keep a special eye out for Regice in your local community.
In addition to the trio’s return, you will find that some Pokemon that have a type advantage over the legendaries will appear more often in the wild. Geodude, Magnemite, Swinub, Aron, and Spheal can all be found in the wild while Aerodactyle, Shuckle, Sneasel, Skarmory, Snorut, and Beldum will hatch more often. Keep in mind incubators will be tice as effective throughout the weekend, allowing to hatch eggs in half the time they normally require.
Later this month, you will find that the legendary Regigigas will make its debut in EX Raids. Niantic is hosting a Special Research story event on November 2 called “A Collasal Discovery.” This will let you encounter the new Legendary early, but it will require a virtual ticket.
