Explore back alleys and city outskirts as you engage in dialogue and action choices that will affect the outcome of the story. It is up to your own decisions whether the game gets more violent as you defend yourself against enemy spirits. Be warned; this game has blood, gore, partial nudity, and sexual themes scattered throughout it.

“Face the nightmares you thought were merely urban legends. Use your wits and a trusty flashlight to search for clues to your sister’s disappearance. Team up with shady characters to uncover a dark mystery, making deadly decisions to survive. The choices you make determine your fate and affect the lives of everyone around you,” reads the game’s description.

This is a companion story to the award-winning Spirit Hunter: Death Mark game. Bring home the terror of fearful spirits invading local streets and parks. This is a frightful game full of stunning environments and horrifying sounds.

The PlayStation Blog brought a ton of information for fans about this game. In one question, they asked about the difference between NG and Death Mark. Hajime Chikami, Experience CEO, described NG as a situation that gradually gets worse over time. Instead of seeing the world from the view of a middle-aged amnesiac, you play as a hot-blooded high school student.

This game looks terrifying and beautiful at the same time. Interacting with different spirits as you solve a mystery is an age-old idea, but it is executed perfectly within NG. Chikami describes the scariest spirit to be the “Screaming Author” but says he finds the paranormal activities in your apartment to be even more terrifying.

As a final piece of advice, Chikami recommends that players destroy the spirits to see what happens. If you are not a fan of sudden surprises, he would also recommend turning off the Scary Effects Mode. There is a special surprise hiding at the bad ending for those who have played Death Mark.
