Blizzard is constantly doing work to keep World of Warcraft up and running in the best possible form. With every update, though, more problems have a tendency to appear, keeping Blizzard in the never-ending cycle of patching up new bugs with hotfixes.

It’s an even more interesting game for them to play now that there’s both the World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth and World of Warcraft: Classic versions for them to worry about. Today brought their latest bunch of hotfixes, with the developers targetting a few tweaks in Battle for Azeroth while applying a single fix to Classic.

The only Classic fix that’s coming to the client is a quick patch to help with a reputation issued. Blizzard has fixed a bug that was preventing players from earning the correct amount of reputation with the Cenarion Circle faction from killing Abyssal High Council in a raid.

Moving to Battle for Azeroth, there are three sparse fixes – and only one is really a fix, while the other two are achievement adjustments. Blizzard has made tweaks to help address bugs and unintended behaviors that were making the game a bit more difficult than it needed to be.

Battle for Azeroth‘s fix is aimed towards the fight against N’Zoth the Corruptor in the endgame raid Nyalotha, the Waking City. Blizzard has fixed an issue causing Basher, Corruptor, and Spike Tentacles to get stuck under the ground if they’re stunned at the time that Psychus is slain. This fix applies to Raid Finder, Normal, and Heroic difficulties, which means it must not have been an issue on Mythic – or maybe that it’s just part of the difficulty!

In terms of achievements, Blizzard has made it so that players don’t need to discover the Blueprint: Perfectly Timed Differential to earn the Junkyard Collector achievement. Given that this item had a roughly 14% drop rate off of King Mechagon, it was a bit of a headache to farm, so removing it will make earning the achievement significantly easier.

Second, Blizzard has made it so that the Bitten Hand debuff required to earn the You Can Pet the Dog, But… is no longer removable by using immunity effects. This makes it so that players won’t be able to purposely be inflicted by the debuff and then remove it to easily grab the achievement.
