Blizzard has begun World of warcraft‘s latest holiday, the Easter-inspired Noblegarden! This event is currently live on the Battle for Azeroth version of the title, and has already ended on the Classic servers.

That said, the event is so radically different that playing through it on Classic doesn’t mean you don’t have anything to gain on Battle for Azeroth. For starters, the Classic version lasted a single day – Easter Sunday – while the Battle for Azeroth version lasts from today through April 19th.

“The great feast of Noblegarden has long been celebrated by the races of the Alliance and recently adopted by those of the Horde,” Blizzard writes, explaining a bit of the in-game lore behind the event. “During this joyous event, it is customary for the nobles and lords from each race to hide coins, candy, and the occasional treasures within special eggs painted to look like wildflowers. These eggs are then scattered around major cities for the citizenry to find.”

Players can celebrate the event in the following zones:

  • Azure Watch (Alliance)
  • Dolanaar (Alliance)
  • Goldshire (Alliance)
  • Kharanos (Alliance)
  • Brill (Horde)
  • Razor Hill (Horde)
  • Bloodhoof Village (Horde)
  • Falconwing Square (Horde)
  • Shattrath City (Neutral)

During the event, players will be rewarded the exclusive Noblegarden Chocolates as a currency. You can use these chocolates to purchase garments, mounts, pets, and other exclusive rewards, like a handful of toys. You’ll primarily get these chocolates by completing the event-exclusive quests and finding eggs scattered around.

It’s worth mentioning that if you’re on a crowded server, eggs can be hard to find. Players will often find a single area that they spawn and sit directly on top of that egg to farm them, making it virtually impossible for anyone else to get them. If you want some of the account-wide rewards like mounts, toys, and pets, you might be better off on a low-population server to earn the Noblegarden rewards.

One of the daily quests you can partake in is the Great Egg Hunt, which will reward you with gold and experience, as well as a Blossoming Branch. Otherwise, hunting eggs will be your most reliable use of time to farm up some chocolates. There are eight achievements to strive for as well, and getting them all will reward you with the title “the Noble,” as well as counting towards the meta-achievement “What a Long Strange Trip It’s Been,” which is earned by completing the achievements for every major holiday.
