The coronavirus pandemic has drastically changed the way society operates today. People are having to stay six feet apart when in public, self-quarantine, and even wear masks. Given that a lot of people are having to stay home, gaming has definitely seen a rise.
Publishers and developers are responding to the increased need to game by giving away a lot of free titles. So if your library is a little lacking, there are plenty of opportunities to beef it up. Another free offering is coming from Sony as part of their Play At Home initiative. They’re encouraging PS4 owners to stay home and play games, and one way they’re doing this is offering Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for free starting April 15.
You don’t even need a PS Plus membership. Owning a PS4 will suffice and all you have to do is head on over to the PlayStation store. There will be a download link you can click on to add this amazing action adventure collection to your library. It’s a generous act from Sony and just one of many they have planed for the foreseeable future.
It seems even in these dark times, there is still plenty of love to go around. It’s incredible to see what humanity is capable of even when the chips may seem down. As far as the collection, it’s an amazing value that includes the first three games in the Uncharted series.
If you haven’t played them yet and have a PS4, now’s the perfect time. You couldn’t ask for better action-packed, fun experiences. The people at Naughty Dog have perfected the series over the years. Each new installment brings enhanced graphics and more realistic action.
Nathan Drake is one of the most iconic video game characters ever. It’s always fun taking on his role of a treasure seeker. He always has an amazing cast of supporting characters as well, such as Sullivan and Elena Fisher. The first Uncharted set the stage for so many incredible installments to follow. It’s incredible to see how far this series has come over the years.
Whether you’re looking to drive some vehicles in surreal situations, enjoy movie-quality cinematic experiences, or just have fun shooting at bandits trying to steel your treasure, then this collection is worthy of your time.
