There are a ton of first-person shooters that have made a big impact on the gaming industry as a whole. One of these series is BioShock. These games are beloved by many and it’s not hard to see why. They just have so much personality and provide atmospheric experiences from start to finish. You would be hard-pressed to really find fault with any one of the three games in the series. Each one furthers the franchise and features some of the most iconic antagonists in video game history: The Big Daddies.
If you’ve wanted to check out these amazing games, probably the best way to do that was to get the BioShock Collection. It includes all three games in the series: BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite. That’s an incredible deal if you really think about it. For the longest time, though, the collection was only offered on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
That appears to be changing based on a recent Taiwanese rating board’s leak. A couple of days ago, the collection appeared on the rating’s board for the Switch. That’s a pretty good indication of this epic series coming to this hybrid console. There have been no official announcements from 2K or Nintendo, but where there is smoke, there is usually fire.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see a statement made here in a couple of weeks, in fact. In the meantime, Switch owners get to contemplate the prospect of taking down Big Baddies and harvesting as much ADAM as they can muster. Seeing this iconic and beloved series possibly on the Switch has gotten many gamers excited.
It just shows the type of power the Switch has. So many developers want to get their games on the platform because of its popularity. Even to this day, the Switch continues to sell well. These figures don’t seem to be slowing down any time soon, especially when you consider Nintendo is making an even more powerful Switch model.
BioShock and Switch seem like a match made in heaven if you really think about it. Now, players will be able to get to experience the epic first-person shooter action and amazing storylines in portable mode if they so choose. This has never been possible before and it instantly gives Switch owners a novel experience that is sure to be fantastic from start to finish. In 2020, the Switch continues to deliver surprise after surprise.
