Well, if you have kept track of Stellar Blade-the next action game from Shift Up-Eve is a hyperrealistic character design in terms of games. But now? She’s like some unsettling hyperrealistic hyperlapse thing.
And recently, JND Studios, which already gave us some nutty figures of those characters-Wonder Woman and Geralt from The Witcher, first showed us the Stellar Blade Eve figure-and, well, it is that good. Within the tweet from the studio, Eve’s sculpt was shown off in all its glory, with detail so razor sharp that you would almost swear she was about to step out of the screen.
Still, with no price or release date being officially announced, you should be able to imagine that if JND’s past work gave you great expectations for this one, then you must have a fair amount of cash to shell out-one might “sell a kidney” for affording this. JND’s hyperrealistic figures generally run in thousands, and honestly, considering every little detail put into Eve, from her armor to her facial expression, I’m sure this is one of those JND figures that go for a lot.
Well, here’s the weird thing: zero replies at the time of our check. Guess most fans are losing their minds in the comments. Or maybe just too stunned to type. Or maybe everybody is busy saving for that imminent pre-order.
For the uninitiated, Stellar Blade (previously known as Project Eve) is apparently the most beautifying action videogame for this year, with Shift Up on for maximum tread, this time with fast-paced combat in a dystopian sci-fi world. And Eve? Nearly the world-dates center of it all-a warrior with some super-smooth moves, just like the character model herself.
JND Studios hasn’t issued any announcements yet regarding the possibility of other game character figures (we’re looking at you, Adam) being produced but if this Eve will sell, then probably they will expand the line with another one.
So for collectors rich and passionate about Stellar Blade, better keep the eyes peeled for it. It will definitely be out of stock before you could speak. Don’t go broke first.
And hey, if you do…maybe don’t leave her in the dark. Just throwing it out there. At 3 AM that level of realism is never going to be cute.
