No doubt, that tweet, accompanied by the cute chibi drawing of, say, one character, probably from their long list of RPGs, had the passionate followers go wild. Some of them took the safe route: Almost all mentions of Aerith from FFVII, with one fan dubbing her a “walking green flag” (meaning she’s perfect, no red flags here).
The Tifa stans quickly entered in with pictures of the iconic mix of bartending and fighting. Someone else threw in the wild card, though: Wedge, the lovable Avalanche member, a fabulous human golden retriever! Respect.

Replying to the post, we turned into a chaotic romantic tribute across decades of RPG history, proving that crazy, betrayed, and apocalyptic worlds still cannot deprive gamers of cherishing characters who are nice, I repeat nice. No ulterior motives, no hidden evil plans-just cinnamon rolls, all the way.
