Borderlands 3 has been a massive achievement for Gearbox Software. Many consider it to be the best Borderlands yet. It excels in many departments, from the endless amounts of guns you can collect to the fantastic environments your vault hunter gets to explore. The game has now been out for a couple of months, and finally, the first expansion pack is coming. \n \nIt was announced a couple of weeks ago. Called Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, this expansion looks like a ton of fun. To celebrate its release on December 19, some extended footage of gameplay was just released by the developer. We see the inner-workings of the casino built by the former Handsome Jack. It was once a beautiful establishment where those could go to earn some money. Now, it’s more hostile than ever. \n \nhttps:\/\/m.youtube.com\/watch?v=mRJEzcODGKg \n \nThere are looters and baddies spread throughout. If you’re brave enough to tackle these threats, you’ll be able to earn some cool loot. For example, players can snag some legendary weapons to help them out in future combat situations. There are also new bosses you’ll get to challenge. You can tackle these heist missions solo, but playing with a party is also an option. That seems like the best way to approach this now hostile casino. \n \nNew cosmetics and items are also available if you complete the side missions. It should be mentioned that this first expansion pack isn’t free. It is available as a standalone purchase. Or, you will get it if you opted into the season pass. Either way, Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot looks like a great addition to an already fantastic game. It should give those who’ve spent some time with the game a chance to earn incredible loot and experience fresh missions. \n \nThis first expansion is just another reason why Borderlands 3 is an incredible game. There are just so many missions to go on. There are also some amazing vault hunters to select from this time around. Each one possesses unique abilities, whether you’re looking to take a more hands-off approach to combat from a distance or want to get in everyone’s business in some close quarters combat. \n \nIf you haven’t had the chance to play Borderlands 3, this latest expansion may be just what you need to come back to the franchise or perhaps even experience it for the first time. Gearbox Software doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon.
