Skin contest are always a fun way for the community to add their own personality into a popular franchise. From MMORPGs to FPS games fans are always quick to the draw with their own unique imaginations of what skins should be in a title. PUBG is preparing for their 3rd Anniversary and with it are holding a contest for their committed community.

The contest is to create a design for skins to be added to the game in March. The developers are looking for a hoodie, a parachute, and an M416 design. If you are artistically inclined and a fan of this battle royale experience, then you should definitely consider entering the contest.

Due to the nature of the contest, fans can not create any lore-unfriendly skins. This means you can not use copyrighted material or anything themed to the real world. Once the design has been made, it is to be uploaded to any social media platform and tagged with #PUBGSkinContest.

After that, the PUBG Corp. will judge the submissions and pick a set of finalists. From there, a set of the finalist for each of the items will be voted on by the community and added to the game.

If this is something you are interested in, you have until January 5 to upload your designs. The finalist will be chosen between January 6 and 10, and then from there, fans will vote for their favorite. Voting ends on January 20, with the winners being announced the following day on January 21. The skins will then be released come March 23 to celebrate the 3 year anniversary of PUBG.

The winning designs will be given to all players free, and the designers will have some special gifts awarded. It is currently unknown what these special gifts are, but they are sure to have some level of in-game tie in.

PUBG Corp. has more specific rules and guidelines that can be found on their official site. There is a general set of things not to do that any ambitious designer should keep in mind. Submissions can not include any Ghillie suit or camouflage textures, religious, political, or organizations’ symbols, logos, names, images, or trademarks. No tobacco, drugs, racism, sexism, or anything obscene or offensive will be allowed in this contest.

Remember that if you intend to enter the contest, you have until January 5 to upload your designs. PUBG is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One devices.
