When that goofy tweet goes off, the fans are going all crazy for it. Some brain pie comments may even be driving some users nuts! The mad tweet, spaced off with the Prince thinking about what had to be his dinner, somehow rekindled this love-hate relationship with the iconic character in some of the fans. Needless to say, the replies were as crazy as Sheogorath himself.
The tweet read: “I’m trying to decide what to have for dinner. Oh, how I love eating. One of my favorite things to do. Talk to Haskill if you need more information. He’s got more brains than a brain pie. Oh… Brain pie! Perfect! Care to donate?” I mean, classic Sheo-go-loco. No need for context, just vibes. And existential dread thrown on top. The attached image was of the Mad God looking absolutely unhinged in every possible way.
Suddenly, players rushed to attack the tweets with memes and demands for updates on The Elder Scrolls VI. While some, such as Stefano Ceriotti, called Sheogorath “the best Daedric prince,” another group, including Matthew Donahue, labeled him “the most annoying NPC ever.” Ah, the duality! In the meantime, @JaxxUnleashed took the opportunity to demand a PS5 patch for Oblivion; just because.
Now we come to the Starfield debate. Damian Wozniak (@DamWozSC84) took the time for a scathing judgment of Bethesda’s space-themed RPG, urging them to have just remade Freelancer instead. A bold one, at least it’s different. Meanwhile, JoeAmerican6771 has gone straight into console-war-mode, claiming that Bethesda is “pissing away a billion dollars” if they make TES6 Xbox exclusive.
Back to the star of the show: Sheogorath’s weird culinary logic. Zack Darkhound (@LoDZack2) kind of nailed it: “So, this is what an addiction to cheese does to a man?” Probably. The Prince’s love for dairy is well documented, and quite frankly, we respect the commitment. SolidSkullz (@Solid_Skullz) strutted in, “I don’t know if you want my brain Sheo it’s filled with memes,” which – same, honestly.
Certainly, any thread remotely connected to Bethesda is never without patch demands and fix requests. Keith Harvey (@keithernet) proclaimed that Oblivion has been crashing on Xbox, while Eric (@Eric08209673) pointed out that the PC release has never seen a patch since. Not to mention Ayore (@Ayoreingame), who’s demanding a physical copy of Oblivion Remastered. Because, that sure is a mood.
Then the real question comes up: What is brain pie? Is it a legitimate culinary product of the Shivering Isles? Would it pair well with cheese? Those are mysteries we will probably never solve. What we can solve for sure is that Sheogorath brings the chaotic energy that players at large either love or burn through in hate. Random dinner rants and dubious life advice aside, this fellow is one bonkers fun time in a franchise that eats weird for breakfast.
So, is it likely Bethesda will even address any of the replies’ concerns? Dreams, people; dreams. But for the time being, we now have quite another Sheogorath moment, really. Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to track down a recipe for brain pie. Maybe cheese works, as well. Madness awaits.
