This is the hype of the century! The announced joining of the ranks of She-Hulk and Rocket Raccoon in the *MARVEL Cosmic Invasion* slated for release on Nintendo Switch later this year has wreaked havoc and shock throughout the very games industry that had begun to buzz with new additions to what is fast becoming a mad-on-star-hopping adventure.
Let’s simply put this away: this is not just about the beauty of integrating two characters. There is already an abundance of Marvel greats in the game, and adding She-Hulk (wrestling style) and Trash-talking Raccoon to this madness is just asking for some good times.
The Nintendo America reveal tweet stirred a pot of excitement, confusion, and *totally* random side conversations, with @ChuchoBros all in, saying: “Omg, I love She-Hulk’s design and wrestling moves. I’ll get this day one for sure.” At the same time, @DarkDragonMasta was already pondering possibilities of She-Hulk skins for other games (*What will She-Hulk’s skins be in Rivals?*).
Others needed some convincing, however, as @SlainByTheWire shredded the opportunity, saying, *”LMAO! She-Hulk Marvel slop.”* Meanwhile, @TheAlbertanVoic took a weird tangent accusing Mario of having a *”drug problem”* because the Switch isn’t as powerful as a PS4. (Okay then.)
Others dreamed of a Switch 2. @kaznius: *”That’s nice. I can’t wait to pick this up on the Switch 2.”* Meanwhile, @LOSTLEAD8R added a demand of *”Nintendo Switch 2 achievements please.”* Some had surely run past the current-gen console along with their minds.
Back to the real deal, *MARVEL Cosmic Invasion* seems to be drawing some inspiration from that classic big-action, big-personality comic book energy, possibly even with bigger explosions. Combined with Rocket’s sarcasm and She-Hulk’s brawn, they could very well save the universe or completely obliterate it even worse than Thanos.
Now, if you want to ponder why they picked those two specifically… well… Marvel has been trending She-Hulk very hard these days (thanks Disney+), and Rocket? There’s basically the personification of chaos. So, it just fits into this.
Now, that *late 2024* window will be *painfully* vague. Could be something for an early summer, could be the holiday season thing, or it could coincide with Switch 2 (just kidding… maybe). But whenever it will drop, one thing is for sure: it’s really going to bring some flair to the Marvel titles on Switch.
So yeah yep, mark those calendars (or just let it drift vaguely through the back of your mind to remember in a couple of months). Whether it is the brawl, the one-liners, or just a green lawyer suplexing aliens, *MARVEL Cosmic Invasion* is something we all need to witness.
