The Valorant community is certainly now in shock. And no, it was not a clutch bomb. The Sentinels star has cut his long-hair glory that everybody knew might have been a distraction with a buzz cut along with the caption, “The hair was a distraction.” The internet simply exploded.

All fans stormed to the replies with reactions ranging from utmost shock to utter hype. Some considered it a comeback in the days of “V1 Zaddy,” when he reigned with a similar look while with Version1. Others joked that Zellsis now looks like the other pro player, Ethan “Boostio” Arnold. Then there were others going about screaming in all caps—because, honestly, same.

But why, does a man engage in such a thing, suddenly? Zellsis didn’t explain, but these times are curious. Sentinels are currently deep under prep for Toronto, and if history has a way of repeating itself, this could very well be a sign of things to come. During the LCQ run with the Shroud roster, Zellsis had short hair and went all-out. Coincidence? Maybe. Or maybe he’s finally charging his power-up.

His beauty was put through some tests in the replies: “Last time he had short hair like this on SEN was during LCQ… prime Zellsis incoming?” “Walter White,” which… yeah, we see it. There were demands for a beard shave next (please don’t).

Then entered the Brazilians, with one user screaming: CARECA BONITOOOOOOO (BALD AND HANDSOMEEEE), and another one hilariously asked, “How does this man’s age directly correlate with his hair length?” Good question.

But what everybody really wants to know is: Does this mark the return of raid boss Zellsis? One fan threw down the reaction, “You remember what happened when Leaf cut his hair… raid boss Zellsis incoming?” If this is the reality, Toronto better duck.

Maybe its some sort of mental reset, maybe superstition, or just some dude wanting a change; one thing is for sure, though: Zellsis is making waves in this community. If history is any indication, this could very well be the beginning of something that is scary for the opponents.

Sentinels fans, buckle up. The Zaddy Era might just be shifting paradigms. And if the replies are anything to go by, no one’s ready to walk on this path just yet.
