Rockstar Games has recently communicated an important message to all players of GTA Online – the free offer of the Benefactor Krieger supercar will end on November 5th, thereby leaving the players with very few days to claim this luxurious car through the Legendary Motorsport without any cost. The giveaway has been running for a while already, but the clock is ticking fast for those who have not yet received theirs.
The Krieger, in general, is an eye-watering costly supercar that can only be purchased with millions of in-game dollars, hence, the free offer is a tremendous discount for the one who likes to fill their virtual garage with nice cars. On the contrary, a large number of players have been expressing their concerns about something besides the supercar in their comments on Rockstar‘s announcement Twitter post. It seems that the excitement for GTA 6 has divided the community and the matter is no longer up for debate, which is quite entertaining to watch.
A player going by the name of ExtendNaylor addressed Rockstar directly, saying “If it ends November 5th then isn’t this the last chance? Yall just trying to keep our minds off of trailer 3” which might be the best way to put it. Meanwhile, another user named rackslonee simply stated, “Man drop gta 6 foh” thus revealing that some gamers simply can’t wait.
In one case, user MoonzYouTube provided the support for Rockstar and in one of his replies stated “True fans know that you cant rush greatness. Rockstar always delivers” to a critic which seems to be; considering their history. If you think about how long it took for Red Dead Redemption 2 to come out, that is, to say the least, a long wait. And that game was a full-blown masterpiece, thus, perhaps the delay in GTA 6 would not be such a big deal if the quality were of the same standard.
Moreover, the final date of the free car offer being November 5th has raised the eyebrows of some users. 1YungHurricane remarked, “November 5th is My Birthday 😇💯 Pre Order for GTA 6 Soon THIS month!!!” thus signaling that people are associated with the release of GTA 6 merely because of the coincidence of dates. On the contrary, the account gta6freeroamer was quite convinced that something significant was going to take place “Tomorow? Towmorow. I feel it! # GTA 6” – although, to be honest, we have all been through similar situations with unrealistic expectations and speculations.
What’s more, this one player is seeing it as a real financial crisis. User LilxCutxThroat wrote, “Hey GTA can u hold on for me My disability check don’t come till Friday,” which is both funny and somewhat sad at the same time, since it is a free car in a video game but still, some players treat it like a matter of paying rent.
Then there is this whole mysterious and enigmatic user TREVOR4REAL, who pretended to have the inside scoop on the release date for the trailer of the game GTA 6, and said, “I know when you’re going to release the GTA 6 trailer 3😈 I’ve figured it all out. DM me if you don’t want me to leak the date.” A kind of conspiracy theory scenario it is! When he replied, other users started asking for the details, with maelan_sdmr even begging, “Please tell me what you figured out!!🙏 I wanna know!!!!” This is indicative of how much the gamers are craving for any information.
The debate even extended to other Rockstar games, where bobbyblaze_ said, “we want UNDEAD NIGHTMARE 2 and a new MIDNIGHT CLUB game set in Japan” and this suggestion is cool but probably will not happen any time soon as Rockstar is very much busy with the development of GTA 6.
On the flip side, some players have already given up on GTA Online. YouriDB was the one who expressed this by saying, “Anyone still playing this? 🥱” this got me thinking – how many gamers are there who still play GTA Online on a regular basis as opposed to those who are just waiting for the next big thing? The game has been around for nearly 10 years, which is quite a long time in the gaming world, yet it still has a devoted player base that Rockstar Games keeps entertained with free car giveaways and updates.
GalagaLord’s perspective “why can’t you just keep it free?” poses quite an interesting question, as if by chance Rockstar is actually making money somehow. Well, as of now, they are not giving the full game away for free forever, but still, compared to other live service games they have been surprisingly generous with GTA Online over the years.
Thus, the situation is very simple – if you want to grab the free Krieger on PlayStation or Xbox.
