Developer Blazing Stick and Publisher Graffiti Games have announced their newest indie title, Cyber Hook. The game contains bright 3D Retrowave-style graphics on top of a dark background.

The Cyber Hook publisher and developer have announced the new game along with a new trailer showcasing the gameplay.

Cyber Hook is a fast-paced, 3D platformer that has you using parkour skills and a grappling hook to scale and ride walls, while fighting enemies and blasting blocks with a finger laser gun. Hurtle forward in a vibrant retrowave environment to test parkour abilities, but be careful, because one missed jump can mean life or death.” states the Steam store summary.

The game features fast-paced 3D parkour gameplay. The gameplay is all in first person, making the platforming elements even more challenging. Luckily, players will have a handy hook available. Players will use the grappling hook to attach to blocks while fighting off enemies with a laser finger gun.

There are over 70 bright and neon-filled levels to explore. Players can break the level design and warp time to save themselves from certain doom. If gamers do well, they can challenge others on the global leaderboards to either climb to the top or be encouraged by others’ progress. Unfortunately, players will have to take on Cyber Hook’s challenging gameplay alone. The game is only available as a single-player title with no multiplayer.

Cyber Hook will be available in nine different languages, but only the English language setting includes full audio. Additional languages include French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, and Simplified Chinese.

While the game has been announced, the release date is still pending. Players can add the game to their wishlists on Steam now, but the Nintendo Switch store page is still pending.

Blazing Stick hasn’t released many games on Steam yet. Blazing Stick’s previous game is Abyssal Fall, which was released in August 2017. Cyber Hook has been a two-year-long endeavor that will soon be released on PC and the Nintendo Switch.

Publisher Graffiti Games have released a handful of indie titles in the past, including Days of War, Tridens Wake, and Mable and the Wood.

Cyber Hook is planned to be released in Q1 2020 on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch.
