The fantasy realm is rich and beautiful, along with being filled with dangerous enemies and challenging puzzles. Everything is built to test your skills and let you prove that you are a true champion of the realm. There is a diverse lineup of characters to choose from with ten playable heroes currently built into the game. Each hero has a unique personality and have journeyed far from home in hopes of being a champion.

The heroes are all anthropomorphic animals wielding varying weapons and fighting styles. Each character varies in size and animations giving a unique feel to each of the aspiring heroes. There are some small adjustments to each hero’s speed, attack, defense, and other stats, but they are so small that the hero choice almost becomes a cosmetic preference.

“Compete against friends to go from zero to HERO in this fast-paced multiplayer dungeon crawler meets EPIC arena brawl! Choose your character, race through random dungeons to power-up for the ultimate BRAWL,” Reads the  Epic Games Store page for the game. As you battle through dungeons, you spark a timer and compete against another set of adventurers doing the same. In the end, you brawl for victory, and the first team that completed the dungeon gets a bonus helping them triumph over their foes.

The dungeons are all randomized, so every game is going to be a different experience. You start with only a wooden sword at your side, and as you loot through the dungeon, you find stronger armor, powerful weapons, and new spells that will help you fight the enemies waiting at the end.

This game is a coop experience with a local couch split-screen mode and an online team play option. You can compete in the winner-take-all arena brawls as well to find out who in your friend group is the superior hero in the realm.

The developers have worked hard to make this game easy to learn, and with the fast sessions, it is a high-energy, easy pickup and play style game. Although there is some level of skill needed to win, this is not a game that requires hours to learn, only hours to master.
