NIS America has announced they are bringing Prinny 1•2: Exploded and Reloaded to the Nintendo Switch for the first time.

Along with the announcement was a short trailer that was less than a minute long.

Prinny 1•2: Exploded and Reloaded is a collection of two games: Prinny 1: Can I Really Be the Hero? and Prinny 2: Dawn of Operation Panties, Dood! The games were previously released on PSP.

Prinny 1 stars the creature who is tasked with serving Master Etna the ultimate dessert. There are two difficulty modes, which range from the Standard Mode to Hell Mode. Prinny will need all 1,000 lives to complete the challenging side-scrolling platformer.

The second game has Prinny once again helping Etna as it recovers Master Etna’s personal property. This game features changes in the day and night cycle. Depending on how long players take to complete a level, they may face the next in either sunny or the dark of night. Prinny 2 has double the amount of gameplay as the previous title plus bonus content like secret characters, enemies, bosses, and items.

The gameplay has Prinny using jump, slack, explode, and hip pound moves to fight through difficult levels. While combat seems simple, the game is known for being extremely difficult.

The collection includes updated graphics, intense gameplay, and characters from the Disgaea series. The game also includes post-game content featuring Asagi.

NIS America is also releasing a special collectors edition called Prinny 1•2: Exploded and Reloaded – Just Desserts Edition. The collection includes the base game, Prinny’s Scrapbook of Memories Art Book, Prinny’s Awesome Mix Official Soundtrack, Can I Really be a Prinny Block? Building Block Set, and an Asagi Wars EX Alpha Championship Edition poster all inside a special Collector’s Box.

Preorders for Prinny 1•2: Exploded and Reloaded – Just Desserts Edition are available now on the NIS America Store. The store page for the Just Desserts Edition also lists the timeframe the game will be released.

The game comes after the full release of Disgaea on mobile devices. While these games were released years ago, they are still popular with fans. Those that didn’t own a PSP can now experience both games on modern consoles.

Prinny 1•2: Exploded and Reloaded will be released in Fall 2020.
