CFK has announced they are bringing two Princess Maker games to the Nintendo Switch. The Princess Maker titles have players raising a “princess.” Her future is up to the player, depending on the choices gamers make.

The first two Princess Maker titles coming to the Switch are Princess Maker: Faery Tales Come True and Princess Maker: Go! Go! Princess.

Princess Maker: Faery Tales Come True and Princess Maker: Go! Go! Princess are both older games released at the end of the 1990s.

Princess Maker: Faery Tales Come True, or Princess Maker 3, initially launched on the PlayStation in 1997. It was then followed by releases on the Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, and PC. In 2017, the game was updated and released on Steam with an English translation.

Princess Maker: Faery Tales Come True stars a young fairy girl who wants to be a human princess. She receives the blessings from her Fairy Queen to become a human. It’s up to the player to raise the fairy as if she is their daughter. The player isn’t completely alone. An advisor fairy named Uzu will help the player along the way.

Key features for the title include a simplified UI, improved class and part-time job animations, animated pixel characters, and event screens with enlarged character illustrations.

The princess-in-training’s Japanese voice actress is Yukana Nogami, who has had many roles in the industry, including Meiling from the anime series Card Captor Sakura.

Princess Maker: Go! Go! Princess is a spin-off of the popular series. In Go! Go! Princess, there are different princesses from the entire series. There is one original princess new to the series. The gameplay follows a board where players can complete over 100 various tasks according to what’s written. There are multiple endings that are dependent on the tasks that are completed.

The game was initially launched on the PlayStation in 1999, but will soon come to the Nintendo Switch and Steam. It will be available in English, along with Japanese and Korean.

While Princess Maker: Faery Tales Come True is a single-player game, Go! Go! Princess is a local multiplayer game. Up to four players can play together on the Switch. Steam players can play online with friends.

Princess Maker: Go! Go! Princess will be released in Japan on December 23. The release date for Princess Maker: Faery Tales Come True is pending.
