PlayStation currently has a phenomenal sale right now for a lot of AAA games. This is particularly true if you’re a member of PlayStation Plus, the company’s monthly subscription service. For a limited time only, these members can pick up Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition for a low $15. For as much content and great features that are included in this package, that’s a phenomenal deal.

The Complete Edition includes The Frozen Wilds, an amazing expansion that gives you so many epic adventures to experience for the first time. There are more mysterious quests to complete and beautiful lands to traverse through with your character. There are also much-needed updates that have alleviated bugs that were present at launch.

If you’ve never had the chance to play this action-adventure game, you’re in store for a grand adventure. Developed by Guerrilla Games, this game follows Aloy. She’s a hunter who’s on a quest to discover secrets of her past. Along her journey, there are these monstrous machines that she’ll have to vanquish. The open-world environments give you plenty of sights to see and characters to interact with.

The base game is phenomenal, but if you’re looking for more, there are plenty of side quests to keep you engaged in this fantasy-like world. Many have raved about the game’s visuals. They look absolutely beautiful, especially if you have a 4K television and an advanced console system.

Like most RPGs of this nature, you’ll get to enhance Aloy as she progresses through both the main story and side missions. The different skill trees give you ample abilities to improve, depending on the approach you want to take with combat. The longer you play, the more abilities and special items you’ll be able to access.

Throughout this game, you’ll run into three tribes. These include the Nora, the Oseram, and the Carja. Each one possesses unique customs and visual elements that you’ll appreciate. It’s these tribes who are standing up against the ‘Derangement’, a movement that has made the once peaceful machines dangerous and hostile.

You’ll have to fight alongside these tribes if you hope to post-pone and ideally prevent this robot Apocalypse. Aside from a great story, Horizon Zero Dawn’s combat is very fluid. Taking down large machines is an addicting experience that makes you feel like a superior hunter.
