Since the Nintendo Switch was released in March 2017, the library of games has continued to grow. With more games than there’s time to play them, some gamers may be having a difficult time choosing what to buy,

Nintendo has recently released a new page on its official website that aims to help players choose which titles to play based on data from other gamers. The page lists 30 games that had the longest average playtime in 2019.

The Nintendo Switch has a feature that measures the playtime of a game. The time can be checked at any time on the account.

The information is found on the Japanese version of the Nintendo Switch website and doesn’t appear to be included on the North America site for now. The website lists the title of the games, their initial release date, and a link to where players can buy the game.

The first ten games include Dragon Quest X, Fortnite, Super Robot Wars T, SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays, Dragon Quest Builders 2, Minecraft, Splatoon 2, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition, and Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi.

Other popular titles include Dead By Daylight, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, FIFA 19, and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster.

While there are plenty of single-player games on the list, many of the titles also offer multiplayer play.

Something all of the games have in common is their replayability. For example, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition contains all of the DLC and both expansion packs. Players can enjoy the game for hundreds of hours. Now that save data can be used from the Steam and GoG release, players can continue their PC adventures on the Nintendo Switch, as well.

The Nintendo Switch also has plenty in store for 2020. One of the most notable releases on the system is Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which is the first title on the series on the console. The game is scheduled to be released on March 20 and has included pre-order bonuses, new commercials, and even an AC: NH-themed Nintendo Switch console.

For players who need a bit more guidance on which new game to play, Nintendo hopes to ease some of the confusion with the new page. Most of the games on the list are not only available digitally through the Switch eShop but also in physical form, making them accessible to players of all types.
