However, if one scrolls through the replies, one will see that there are opinions from veteran fans concerned with the lack of unlockables for the Black Falcon and Blue Ninja robes, similar to the first three games. One really said, “Fk off. Black falcon and blue ninja robe should be unlocks like the first 3 games.” Ouch. On the other hand, one reason for this might be doubt that Ryu is pushed to the back, as another commenter put it: “I’m preordering the deluxe. But its contents tell me that Ryu definitely is taking the back seat.”
Then, options for weapons are discussed. There are many questions about the whereabouts of Ryu’s legendary weaponry-except the scythe and the talons. One fan actually compared the new character’s weapons with the exaggerated Bayonetta style, saying that is just not feeling like classic Ninja Gaiden. However, others are beginning to cry out for a physical or collector’s edition, with one friend begging, “Collector edition when? 🥹”
Some people are going insane about the Ninja Gaiden 4-type skins, resurrecting Ryu to the top. The big question at present is whether or not anyone should take that leap and pre-order, but the drama in and of itself might be reason enough to hold back for a little longer, or just maybe, that Yakumo Skin is calling your name. In any case, for better or worse, Ninja Gaiden 4 will already be stirring up loads of drama even before its release.
