The portability and online play for gamers young and old is showcased on the commercial. Players also noticed some new information regarding the upcoming game Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the next installment in the popular Animal Crossing series. This game will also be the first game released on the Nintendo Switch.

“Peaceful creativity and charm await as you roll up your sleeves and make your new life whatever you want it to be. Collect resources and craft everything from creature comforts to handy tools. Embrace your green thumb as you interact with flowers and trees in new ways. Set up a homestead where the rules of what goes indoors and out no longer apply. Make friends with new arrivals, enjoy the seasons, pole-vault across rivers as you explore, and more!” states the official game description.

New information continues to roll in before the game’s launch.

The commercial shows a preview of the game’s gardening system. Similar to previous games, beautifying the land with flowers and other decorations will play an important part in making villagers happy. There are also trees with fruit ripe for selling and trading with friends.

In one of the scenes, the new menu is shown, which looks slightly different from past games.

More gardening decorations around players’ homes are also shown, such as fencing to either decorate plants or keep others away from certain locations.

In another scene, the player is seen standing in front of a large bonfire beside two pear trees.

The gameplay also shows that the time clock in the bottom corner will have a different design than previous games. The time clock will now have a more minimalistic design, which was perhaps changed so it wouldn’t obstruct from the player’s view.

Previously announced was a large amount of the animals that players will meet, either again or for the first time. Many of the animals from previous games are also wearing new outfits.
